Every time you shop online, make a payment, stream a video, join a video call, or take a photo, that activity runs through a data center. Data centers also support emergency services, medical research, education and national security. They are secure, high-performance facilities that host, process and protect digital information. As more of daily life moves online, the physical capacity behind it has to grow too.

Less than most people expect. Our sites will use closed-loop cooling, where the system is filled once and the same water circulates continuously instead of evaporating. Most day-to-day water use will come from the people on site, such as restrooms and breakrooms, which puts our water consumption on par with a large office building.

We understand noise is a real concern, which is why we conduct baseline sound studies to evaluate potential impacts on the surrounding community before a project begins. We test often, and thoroughly. Sound mitigation is part of our site design from the beginning to ensure noise levels are minimal and meet local standards and regulations.

We design our sites with the local and natural landscape in mind. We utilize landscaping design and buffer areas to minimize visual impacts on neighbors.

Minimally. We work with local officials to develop traffic management plans for both the construction and operation phases of a project.

The exact number of jobs depends on the size and scope of the project. However, data centers create skilled, well-paid careers across the trades and professional operations.

Our projects create local jobs, generate tax revenue, and bring direct investment to the communities that host them. Through a Community Benefit Agreement, we invest further in local priorities.
